A few years ago, during our wedding anniversary, a friend gave us a book by Mariam Stoppard entitled “Pregnancy and Baby Care”. I looked at my wife wondering if we would ever need it. The very next year, she got pregnant. Our life has never been the same since.

During pregnancy, we had tons of questions. But thank God, we discovered some amazing things -parenting books and websites! We no longer felt alone. We poured over forums and blogs, and found so much ideas and inspiration, not just on pregnancy but also on raising kids and more. Parenting became less daunting.

At home, we started a tradition of meeting parents with similar age-group kids every weekend. It is an evening where kids have fun playing with each other while parents have a nice chitchat. These gatherings proved very refreshing with so much exchange of perspectives, information and resources.

We wanted to create a true web of insights, resources and connections – one not limited to just an editorial team but representing the interests and judgments of a whole community.
